The continuation of the appointment is determined by the availability of funds such as grants, alternative funding sources and/or time frames such as pilot projects, alternative funding sources or program termination./ppJob Description/ppTo provide customer service and specialized information; assist individuals in securing services, permits or licenses; perform related work./ppTo perform a wide variety of administrative support functions, while maintaining strict confidentiality in a testing environment. This position provides excellent customer service to all constituents and will work in the Prometric Test Center. Some evening and Saturday hours may be required. This is a Limited Service Appointment./ppThis position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered./ppKey Responsibilities/pp Provide professional customer service to clients and testers at all times./pp Provide precise testing procedures to testing candidate./pp Ensure that exam integrity is maintained./pp Opening/Closing procedures in testing center./pp Proctoring various exams./pp Troubleshooting computer issues./pp Adhere to ISU and Prometric security procedures and protocols./pp Assist with scheduling./pp Ensure a safe and secure test environment./pp Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information./pp Assist Testing Coordinator as needed./pp Other duties as assigned./ppMinimum Qualifications/ppExperience:/pp Questioning customers to obtain detailed information in a business setting./pp Explaining policies, procedures, or rules./pp Independently handling complaints and upset individuals in a business setting./pp Answering a business telephone using knowledge of business telephone procedures and etiquette./pp Reviewing documents and records for accuracy and completeness./pp Accessing data using a computerized records system./ppSpecialty Requirements/ppSome positions require:/pp Experience performing several tasks simultaneously while having continual interruptions./ppSupplemental Information/ppThese positions:/pp Involve dealing with hostile or angry individuals./pp Require sufficient speech and hearing acuity to perform customer service work./ppAdditional Information/ppISU minimum for this classification is $16.75/hour, commensurate with education and experience.
