- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment.
- Strong communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude.


Description:
The Imaging Supervisor oversees the radiology department.
This facility has 874 licensed beds and is a teaching hospital.
The department averages 350-400 patients per day.
There are multiple X-ray suites and portable units available.
The supervisor will work primarily in the Main Radiology department but may assist in other areas.
They will carry a supervisor phone for communication.
Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching staff, onboarding new employees, and communicating with physicians.
The role requires confidence in clinical skills and the ability to manage high-acuity patients effectively.
The supervisor will work closely with a leadership team, other radiology technologists, and medical residents.
The candidate may be asked to precept radiology students depending on their experience.
Teamwork and high clinical skill sets are essential in this fast-paced environment.
Support from lead techs and management is available during weekdays.
Radiologists and additional staff are always on-site to assist.
This position does not require floating to other facilities or departments outside of radiology.
All equipment used includes various imaging systems and technologies relevant to radiology practices.
Candidates must be willing to work designated shifts consistently over the contract period.
Weekend rotations may be necessary as per scheduling needs.
Holiday work may be required if it falls on a regular scheduled day.
