MPS is looking for a certified Electric Pallet Jack Operator for the city of Los Angeles!

Electric Pallet Jack Operator Poultry Cold Storage

Job Title: Electric Pallet Jack Operator
Industry: Poultry / Food Production
Work Environment: Cold Storage / Refrigerated Facility

Shift:7:00am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: 17hr to start

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Electric Pallet Jack Operator to join our poultry production and warehouse team. The employee will operate an electric pallet jack to safely move poultry products, pallets, materials, and supplies throughout a cold-temperature work environment .

Responsibilities

Operate electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Move and stage pallets of poultry products in refrigerated/cold-storage areas.
Load and unload products and materials as directed.
Maintain accurate product and pallet placement.
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
Inspect equipment before use and report mechanical issues.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow supervisor instructions and production schedules.
Work safely around other warehouse and production employees.
Perform repetitive lifting, standing, walking, bending, and pushing as required.

Requirements

Previous electric pallet jack experience preferred.
Warehouse, food production, poultry, or cold-storage experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment for extended periods.
Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to follow safety and food-handling procedures.
Ability to lift and move products as required by the position.
Must be able to work as part of a team.

Physical & Work Environment

Cold/refrigerated working conditions.
Standing and walking for extended periods.
Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
May require lifting and moving heavy boxes or pallets.
Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including cold-weather protective gear.
