Shape financial strategies in a dynamic, growth-focused organization.Job DescriptionFund Accounting Manager OverviewThe Fund Accounting Manager will oversee hedge fund accounting and administration processes within a dynamic finance team.Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.Lead the management of private equity and hedge fund feeder funds, ensuring operational excellence.Drive process automation and efficiency by working closely with technology and product teams.Participate in high-level management meetings to align strategies and objectives.Monitor compliance with partnership operating agreements and oversee financial statement preparation.Contribute to periodic and ad hoc reporting in collaboration with compliance and legal teams.This hybrid role offers a blend of onsite and remote work flexibility.Fund Accounting Manager Key Responsibilities & DutiesLead and manage a portfolio of private equity and hedge fund feeder funds.Collaborate with implementation teams for new business and fund launches.Review feeder fund draft documents and operational questionnaires pre-launch.Oversee NAV and partners’ capital account statement issuance and track KPIs.Sign-off on capital call and distribution cash analysis and investor allocation files.Facilitate process automation and efficiency with technology and product teams.Monitor fund compliance with partnership operating agreement terms.Oversee preparation of annual fund financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.Prepare and oversee periodic and ad hoc reporting with internal and external stakeholders.Fund Accounting Manager Job RequirementsBachelor of Arts (BA) degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in fund accounting or finance roles.Preferred 15 years of experience with expertise in hedge fund administration.Proficiency in US GAAP and financial statement preparation.Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.Experience with process automation and technology-driven solutions.Excellent communication skills for management-level meetings and reporting.Hybrid work arrangement requiring adaptability to onsite and remote work.
