Accounting Manager

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and distribution, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join their team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be an integral part of the finance department supporting the accounting team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical accounting skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to financial management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: White Plains, NY

Pay Range: $65/HR W2

What's the Job?

• Provide day-to-day accounting support across general ledger functions

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including closing the books

• Analyze income statements and key financial results to support leadership decision-making

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on general ledger work

• Prior experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of inventory accounting principles

• Knowledge of cash flow reporting and debt accounting practices
