Convention Workers Wanted

Back Bay Staffing Group is seeking convention workers for a convention in September. The job descriptions for the event are as follows:

Registrars

These individuals will be responsible for distributing registrants badges and or tickets at the registration desk. They must have good judgment and respond to members with a pleasant, cooperative and problem-solving attitude.

Onsite Registration and Ticket Sales / Badge Replacement / Cashier

These temporary workers will accept payments for onsite registration and onsite ticket purchases and must be able to learn registration software quickly. They are responsible for directing attendees to meeting rooms, providing updated meeting schedule information and typing and printing replacement badges. These individuals must be customer service oriented, friendly and helpful as well as having vast knowledge of computer skills.

Room Monitors

These individuals must have convention or meeting experience as they will be responsible for checking multiple meeting rooms and distributing meeting and speaker signs. These positions will require a lot of walking throughout the day; it is imperative that the room monitors are able to stand for long periods of time and willing to walk from room to room quickly. These individuals must also exercise good judgment, pay close attention to detail, work independently, oversee several rooms at the same time and respond to our members with a pleasant, cooperative and problem-solving attitude.
