As a Manager of Finance, you'll work with an elite team of accounting and finance professionals who are writing the history of our organization and guiding our success as a global industry leader. That's a lot of responsibility, but you will have the support and resources of a Fortune 6 industry leader behind you every step of the way. This role will be a part of a finance team that supports value-based care payor contracts and performance evaluation of the contracts. Work on this team consists of financial analysis that support rate negotiations, new member growth and strategic business decisions. Value based care is a primary growth pillar identified for United Health Group and this team will help drive future growth and strategy. Primary Responsibilities Interface with business leaders and build relationships in support of financial analysis and performance measurement Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the national contracting teams and the regional finance and business teams Manage business relationships on behalf of the broader Finance organization and Leadership Leverage technology and carry out process improvement activities You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent 5+ years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience Progressive finance work experience Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Office product suite, and other technology tools Proven ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas Preferred Qualifications MBA Process improvement experience Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft experience Demonstrated financial, analytical, and business acumen Ability to dissect large data sets and pull together meaningful financial analyses to drive business decisions Ability to generate innovative approaches and solutions to business opportunities Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
