Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in obstetric nursing and be committed to providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor and assess patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on various aspects of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Respond to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Virginia nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
