Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. This position requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns during the childbirth process.

Shift Details

• Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
• No block schedules available

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs throughout the labor process.
• Assist with delivery, providing necessary interventions as needed.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate and support patients and families before, during, and after the delivery process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Virginia nursing license must be valid and in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patient needs.
