Program DirectorLocation: Raleigh, NCThe EHR Program Director, under the direction of the EHR IT Program Executive, guides the EHR Program team through planning and is the central point of communication, maintaining a common vision, plan, and goal across all areas of the program.The DHHS is seeking a short-term Program Director to lead the implementation of an enterprise electronic health record platform for all facilities overseen by the DHHS Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities.The selected candidate must be a results-oriented individual with a very strong work ethic and must be able to demonstrate excellent IT Project Management, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills. This position will be responsible for working with senior-level business executives, IT personnel, and business program resources to execute project requirements and manage stakeholder expectations. The Program Director will work with DHHS team and the selected vendor to complete implementation of the system. This position will manage the day-to-day activities for the project.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Authoring all project management artifacts following the practices and guidelines from the PMI’s PMBOKDeveloping the detailed project budget and monitoring expendituresDeveloping and maintaining all required State project documentationServing as an IT management liaison to the business clientLeading and performing hands-on analysis of the business and technical environmentsSupervising implementation activitiesEnsuring that project plans and schedules are established and maintainedEnsuring that deliverables are completed timely and accuratelySupervising staff (State and contractual staff)Conducting formal presentationsCoordinating with all project stakeholders and ensure that appropriate project controls are institutedProject Management experience, preferably with large, complex automation implementation efforts Required 7 YearsExperience managing projects implementing large multi-client n-tier client/server systems Required 7 YearsProven track record of delivering IT projects within budget, scope and schedule Required 7 YearsSolid work experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) Required 7 YearsDemonstrated technical architecture/infrastructure knowledge and experience with multiple hardware platforms and operating systems Required 7 YearsDemonstrated presentation and training skills Required 5 YearsDemonstrated oral and written communication skills Required 5 YearsObjective decision-making ability based on strategic objectives priority, business performance analysis and resource availability Required 5 YearsHands on experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications Required 5 Years My3Tech Inc
