Journeyman Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianNippon Dynawave Packaging Company has an immediate opening for Journeyman Mechanical Maintenance Technicians with a varied background in mechanical skills, including pipe fitting, and who have the ability to work in a self-directed work environment where teamwork, quality, and workplace safety are the standards. Starting wage is $44.69; wage range is $44.69 to $47.15.Key Functions:The successful candidate must safely be able to perform mechanical equipment installations, repairs, inspections, adjustments, and troubleshooting at the journeyman skill level in a heavy industrial environment. They must be able to take basic equipment information, including work plans and equipment drawings, and apply them on-the-task. They must take necessary measurements, enter requisitions, and install equipment or parts with general direction from a supervisor. This position requires excellent communication skills, willingness to learn and participate as part of a self-directed team. This includes the ability to interact constructively with team members and customers for mechanical services. The work is often performed outside in a heavy industrial process environment, which can at times include high heat, humidity, and noise.
