Facilities include but are not limited to Convenience Store/Gas Stations, Card Lock Fueling facilities, Bulk Petroleum Terminals, Office Buildings, Warehouses, and other company support facilities. The Facilities Maintenance Technician II will perform a variety of services from preventative maintenance, general maintenance, cleaning, installation, servicing, and repair of equipment, systems, and facilities. This individual will be primarily responsible for general, non-specialized basic carpentry, electrical maintenance, plumbing, construction, and simple maintenance of equipment. Responsibilities includes facility cleaning; pressure washing driveways and fuel islands, parking lot debris cleanup and removal, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning fuel dispensers, and basic fuel pump part maintenance and repair.Records parts and materials used and requests new parts and materials through computerized maintenance management system software.Completes basic facility maintenance and repair, including but not limited to; non-license required basic electrical and plumbing work, HVAC cleaning and preventive maintenance, and light construction work.Completes basic equipment maintenance and repair, including but not limited to: fuel dispenser filter replacement, hose, nozzle, swivel and breakaway replacement, card reader equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, assistance with fuel sampling and phase separation issues, and proving meters for proper calibration.Responsible for additional preventive maintenance including but not limited to; sticking fuel storage tanks for water, upkeep of oil/water separator and catch basin conveyance systems, upkeep of fuel product labeling, and basic troubleshooting of fuel dispensing systems.Participates in Emergency Spill Response and Clean Up as needed.Performs general grounds keeping and cleaning of equipment, and facilities including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.Overall Essential Performance and Behavioral Expectations:Consistently act in accordance with and model our Core Values.Performs all duties in a safe manner at all times.Perform consistent quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.Interact professionally with other Wilcox + Flegel Team Members, customers and suppliers.Work effectively individually and as a team contributor on all assignments.Work under pressure and be able to effectively manage stress as needed.Be accountable for behavior and achieving or exceeding results.Work independently while understanding the importance and necessity of clearly communicating and coordinating work efforts with other Wilcox + Flegel Team Members and organizations.Meet required attendance and punctuality standards established for the position.Bring your best each day in the performance of responsibilities and duties.Cooperatively and effectively perform other duties as may be assigned.Job RequirementsCritical Core Competencies and Skills:Safety mindedAttention to detailAble to follow directionsPass pre-employment drug screening as well as random drug/alcohol screenings to be in compliance with safety sensitive nature of maintenance positionsAbility to learn and utilize various software systems such as Fiix software, Teams, Zoom, Outlook, Proprietary Software (Cardlock Sites)Must have strong work ethicMust be well organized and a self-starterTravel to other sites as required as issues ariseBasic knowledge of fuel storage and dispensing systemsBasic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and weldingAdvanced troubleshooting abilitiesUST Compliance knowledgeSafety Sensitive Position:This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing, as well as random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
