About the Opportunity We are conducting a proactive search to build a network of experienced contract (project) paralegals for current and future project-based engagements. This outreach is not tied to a single immediate opening. Rather, we are seeking talented legal professionals interested in flexible opportunities that align with their experience, availability, and practice area expertise. Assignments may include contract, project-based, part-time, and fractional-hour engagements , providing the opportunity to support leading law firms and in-house legal departments on a wide range of substantive legal matters. Key Responsibilities Depending on the engagement, responsibilities may include: Managing case files and litigation databases Drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents Preparing pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and trial materials Conducting legal and factual research Supporting document productions and eDiscovery efforts Assisting with depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trial preparation Reviewing and analyzing large volumes of records and evidence Maintaining case calendars and tracking critical deadlines Coordinating with attorneys, clients, experts, courts, and third-party vendors Assisting with due diligence and transactional support projects Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of law firm experience as a paralegal or legal assistant Experience supporting attorneys in one or more substantive legal practice areas Strong legal document management, organization, and analytical skills Familiarity with litigation processes, court procedures, and legal workflows Experience with eDiscovery platforms and legal technology is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred, but not required Engagement Types We are specifically seeking professionals interested in: Contract (Project-Based) Assignments Fractional / Hourly Engagements Short-Term and Long-Term Projects Assignments will vary in duration, workload, and complexity based on client needs and practice area demand.
