Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder / Fabricator with experience in pulse welding, metal fabrication, and blueprint reading . This role is responsible for producing high-quality welded components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding (GMAW) on steel components and assemblies
- Execute pulse welding techniques to meet quality standards
- Complete full metal fabrication processes , including fitting, layout, and assembly
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings
- Work from bills of materials (BOMs) and production specifications
- Ensure consistent, high-quality welds that meet tolerances
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Support additional welding and fabrication tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Experience with MIG welding / GMAW welding
- Experience with pulse welding preferred
- Strong metal fabrication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
- Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments
- High attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and meet production goals
Physical Demands:
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
- Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
- Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
