At Magna, you will be part of an international, dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality products and shaping the future of mobility.Job Responsibilities:· Repair robot welds as needed· In Line Inspection· Leak Testing· Documentation Repair welds· Fast Response in case of systematic welding defects· Riveting· Backup for all Operators· Assess welds to ensure cleanliness and within designated specifications of customer requirements.· Conduct test to evaluate weld quality· Collaborate with engineeringing to address issuesJOB REQUIREMENTS:· Graduation from related trade school or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1-3 years of related experience or combination of education and experience.· 1-3 years of experience TIG welding. Experience with aluminum strongly preferred.· Knowledge and ability to assess metal structures to identify and initaiate repair of damaged welds.· Ability to measure close tolerances (Metric & Imperial)· Knowledge and ability to use small tools, operate air/hand toold, welders, grinder and buffing machinesAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
