• Adheres to all departmental and hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards staying updated on relevant trends and requirements.
• Administers and documents medication accurately and according to hospital policy following healthcare practitioner orders for various delivery methods.
• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments covering physical psychosocial and spiritual needs then plans implements and evaluates care holistically preparing patients for discharge.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity by utilizing appropriate communication tools and understanding how cultural factors impact patient care and collaboration within diverse populations.
• Maintains professional competence by engaging in growth opportunities and meeting all mandatory requirements on schedule.
• Accurately documents all patient care and status using the nursing process including responses to interventions and ensures physician orders are appropriate and executed timely.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

Preferred:

• BSN degree
• 6 months recent acute care RN experience strongly preferred.
• One year of related work experience in an acute care setting.
• Specialty certification as appropriate to the assigned work unit.
