Work Setting: Medical-Surgical / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)



Trauma Level: Level IV

PAY BREAKDOWN

• Weekly Gross: $2,276 /Week

• Blended Hourly Rate: $ 63 /Hour

• Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,200

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License Required

• Minimum 3 Years of Nursing Experience Required

• Recent Med-Surg / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Experience Required

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required

• Current ACLS Certification Required

• Experience With PCU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical Patient Care Required

• Ability to Safely Operate and Troubleshoot Equipment Used in PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg Settings

• Strong Patient Assessment, Clinical Documentation, Medication Safety, and Patient Education Skills

• Meditech EMR Experience Required

• Ability to Flex Between Clinical Departments Based on Patientcare and Staffing Needs

• Candidates Should Have Minimal Requested Time Off During the Holiday Season

• Must Be Willing to Flex Between Departments as Needed

• Responsible for Accurate Clinical Documentation, Physician Order Review, and Shift-to-Shift Reporting

• Must Follow Infection Prevention, Isolation, Standard Precaution, and Patient-Safety Procedures

• Experience Reporting Critical Laboratory Values and Communicating Changes in Patient Condition Appropriately
