Pediatrician Opportunity

Harris Regional Hospital, a Duke Lifepoint Hospital in Sylva, North Carolina (45min outside Asheville) is growing with the addition of a full-time BC/BE Pediatrician to strengthen our established team. We have a very established pediatric service line in the beautiful Smoky mountains of Western NC. We are recruiting a pediatrician to work primarily in the outpatient clinic with some hospital rounding. Harris Pediatric Care is an approved NHSC site.

Position Detail:

• Primarily outpatient clinic
• Newborn assessments preferred
• Level 2 Nursery and 9 bed pediatric unit available at HRH
• Very busy OB program averaging 600 deliveries per year
• Our physicians average 20 25 patients per day
• Excellent referral base
• The practice blends administrative support with clinical autonomy, allowing physicians to find an ideal balance within the practice of medicine
• Supported by a strong administrative team, with billing, coding, staffing and day to day operational assistance
• Ideal candidate will combine solid training with an excellent bedside manner and a commitment to providing patient-focused care
