Step into a meaningful contract position as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students and staff across three dynamic school sites for the upcoming academic year. You’ll play a vital role in developing this new discipline within the district, working closely with general and special education teams, sharing your data-driven approach, and collaborating to create positive, lasting change for students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Strong data analysis skills and experience with school-based behavior support
• Previous experience in schools or similar educational settings preferred
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, school psychologists, and support staff
• Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• References and a redacted FBA sample required for consideration

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and behavior-analytic services to students in both general and special education settings across LB Morris School, Penn-Kidder Campus, and Jim Thorpe Area High School
• Perform classroom and student observations, including in emotional support environments
• Conduct FBAs and develop data-driven behavior support plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and related service professionals
• Serve as a resource for staff, offering expertise and training on best practices in behavior analysis
• Support district-wide initiatives to foster inclusive, supportive learning environments

This is a full-time, onsite position for the 2026-2027 school year, running from August 17, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37 to 40 hours.
