Schedule 4x12 Night Shift (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required. Job Description We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients primarily experiencing conditions such as CHF, acute MI, post-device care (including pacemakers), and various arrhythmias. The unit also cares for general surgery patients, including those undergoing colon rectal procedures, ostomy care, and reconstructive surgeries. Responsibilities Manage patient care for a high-volume unit with a bed capacity of 26, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7. Provide assessment and monitoring of patients' vital signs and lab results. Administer medications and treatments according to protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care plans. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. Document patient care and progress in the EPIC charting system accurately. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure New York State Registered Nurse License (must be in hand to submit). Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting. Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required; please include valid NIHSS in your application. EPIC charting experience is mandatory. Ability to float to other units as needed. Candidates must be located more than 75 miles from the facility. Why ARMStaffing?
