Customer Service Coordinator

Reporting Relationships: Director of Sales Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Weekends as needed. This position primarily supports the ArmstrongGrowers division and the product flow into Armstrong Garden Centers.This person will work closely with AGCMarketing Department, Corporate buyers as well as store managers and be theconduit of communication with AGs Branch Managers, Sales Coordinators andProduction team.Participation in weeklymeetings is mandatory. Other responsibilities include, but are notlimited to working with accounting on preparing credits/debits, submitting EDItransmissions for customers using this system, managing the Mass Update on theavail weekly, Batch Posting invoices every morning, communicating with thesales team and internal associates. Skillsets Needed to be successful in this position CustomerService, pleasant greetings and willingness to listen and help StrongExcel Skills Abilityto learn computer "systems" - ours is SBI, Trello Experiencewith EDI transmissions Organizationis key to success Prioritizingtasks as they continue to come in Beingable to work with multiple stores / customers and make decisions Workingwithin deadlines Articulateand able to clearly communicate verbally and in written content Knowledgeof general accounting (credits/debits) Abilityto actively participate in Zoom calls with the Sales Team, AGC Marketing andProduction calls Comfortablein presenting meeting notes to the Ag team via zoom Bi-lingualis a plus (Spanish) Reliabletransportation and ability to visit AG Branches when needed (1x/month) RetailStore support and knowledge will be helpful Salesexperience is helpful Abilityto put in overtime if/when needed Education, Prior Work Experience and Specialized Skills and Knowledge General computer experience and ease of learninginternal / external operating systems Extreme organization with worksheets, files andcommunication Articulate and able to perform professional livepresentations. Physical Environment/Working Conditions Can requires extensive use of back, legs, knees, arms, feet and hands for lifting, stooping, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, pulling, pushing, reaching overhead, and walking. Unassisted lifting limits up to 50 lbs. Individuals may be required to do any or all of these situations throughout the work day, with an emphasis on walking and standing for a major portion of the day.
