Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

A growing neonatal care program in Reno, Nevada, is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join its collaborative team and provide specialized care to newborns in a hospital-based setting.

Position Highlights:

• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner opportunity in a hospital-based neonatal program
• Provide comprehensive care to newborns and critically ill neonates
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of neonatal patients
• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Support neonatal resuscitation and management of high-acuity newborns
• Communicate with parents and families regarding treatment plans and newborn care
• Work alongside an established neonatal team with NNP support

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program
• Current NNP certification or eligibility
• Nevada APRN licensure or eligibility to obtain
• Strong neonatal clinical skills and judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
• Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate neonatal care
