Your Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive assessments of patients, order pertinent diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care plans
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health issues collaboratively with your physician counterparts or autonomously, in line with your credentials
• Educate patients and their families about preventative care, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with your authorized practice
• Engage in ongoing follow-ups and management of chronic conditions

Educational Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or acquire within 90 days)
