Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions collaboratively with physicians or independently based on your credentials
• Educating patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless, comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting patient encounters within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within three months)
