Qualified Professional & Technical is partnering with a rapidly growing boutique CPA and financial consulting firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. As part of its continued expansion through strategic acquisitions and organic growth, the firm is seeking an entrepreneurial CPA Partner to establish and lead a new office within one of its targeted growth markets.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced public accounting professional looking to combine technical expertise with leadership, business development, and practice growth. Initially, you will collaborate with Partners across the organization while supporting an established client base remotely. As the office grows, you will develop your own book of business, mentor accounting professionals, oversee office operations, and play a key role in the firm's long term expansion strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex tax compliance, tax planning, and tax resolution engagements.
• Build, develop, and grow a book of business.
• Lead business development efforts by cultivating new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering strategic tax and business guidance.
• Provide oversight of accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Review financial data and provide meaningful analysis and recommendations.
• Mentor, coach, and develop accounting professionals.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, expand service offerings, and drive innovation.
• Oversee the operations, performance, and strategic direction of the local office.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to execute long term business objectives and support continued growth.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Significant experience in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams, developing professionals, and building client relationships.
• Demonstrated business development experience or a strong desire to grow a practice.
• Strong understanding of business operations and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth and innovation.

Compensation

• Base salary
• Percentage of sales generated.
