Fabricator

Company in Fostoria, OH is looking to add a Fabricator to their team! Candidates should have strong attention to detail, be organized and self motivated. Job Duties Include: Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or related equipment) to fabricate metal parts Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, or other applicable processes) according to specifications Bend and form metal using press brakes, rollers, or manual forming equipment Design, set up, and utilize fixtures and jigs to ensure repeatability and accuracy Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools Troubleshoot machining, welding, or forming issues and make necessary adjustments as needed Maintain equipment, tooling, and a clean, organized work area Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and lean manufacturing practices Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other fabricators to improve processes Required Skills: 3-5 years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing Proficiency in CNC machine setup and operation Welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred) Experience with metal bending and forming equipment Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills Familiarity with fixtures, jigs, and precision setups Working knowledge of measuring and inspection tools Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship #3485ST #J-18808-Ljbffr
