APT | Accredited Physical Therapist

Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region, providing exceptional physical therapy services in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating therapy care plans tailored to help patients achieve their optimal functional levels.

Job Summary

Deliver comprehensive physical therapy care including patient intakes, evaluations, goal setting, care plan implementation, medication prescription, patient education, and progress monitoring. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and patient understanding.
• Ensure therapy plans are implemented effectively and modified as patient conditions evolve.
• Educate and counsel patients, caregivers, and family members on safety, equipment use, and home care techniques.
• Coordinate referrals to other healthcare disciplines as needed.
• Regularly evaluate therapy effectiveness, consulting with physicians and rehabilitation managers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare standards, safety goals, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration to stay current with best practices.

Education and Experience

• Clinical doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Preferred: Minimum of one year of physical therapy practice experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Washington.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Strong knowledge of therapy theories and clinical concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Ability to build effective partnerships with healthcare providers, managers, and patients.
• Proficient in accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Capable of independent judgment, critical thinking, and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

Includes frequent lifting and carrying of various weights, standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities necessary to provide patient care.
