Senior Power Electronics Engineer
Location: Syracuse, NY - Onsite
Education: BS / MS in Electrical / Electronics with 8 years experience
Responsibilities:
- Work with equipment / software / electronic hardware / validation/reliability and manufacturing fields
- Design and implement electrical/mechanical systems for container refrigeration
- Create, refine and clarify with internal and external customers
- Experience in new product design of components and assemblies for manufacturing
- Power electronics knowledge, inverter / converter / VFD
- Knowledge of SiC FET / GaN FET
- Experience with power distribution and conversion of circuitry and wiring, experience with battery system / transformers / inverters / contactors
- High voltage / wattage test and integration
- VFD integration, filters and VFD trouble shoot and debug
- Proficient in electromechanical design
- Experience in electrical schematics and basic electrical analyses, power consumption and with wiring / connectors / harness
Preferred:
- Experience in power supplies / batteries / power converters
- Controller I/O understanding/experience
- With HVAC systems
- Experience in new product design and qualification
- Proficient in modern experimental methods
