Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist

Position Overview Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist (Level 3) to join the Supply Chain Organization at Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Heath, Ohio. This position is 100% onsite, 1st shift, and requires meeting U.S. export control compliance. Responsibilities Facilitate supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in‑service requirements, and performance to contractual obligations and expectations. Develop and participate in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program, and commodity strategies. Analyze and monitor supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance data to identify risks, issues, and opportunities. Develop mitigation plans and provide outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies. Minimum Qualifications More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management. More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and sub‑contracts. More than 3 years of experience negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance. More than 3 years of program management within supplier management. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher. Experience working with procurement plans. Experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements. Experience with various contract types such as Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus Government contracts, etc. Experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts. Experience working in a multi‑functional team environment. Employment Information Travel up to 15% of the time.
