Inventory Analyst

Purpose Responsible for coordinating and expediting workflow and materials between and within departments. Shift: Monday‑Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. Responsibilities Exemplify Berry Behaviors and Values and lead by example. Obtain oral and written pricing quotes from MRO vendors; compare quotes with specifications. Issue requisitions through JDE system and place orders for goods and services promptly. Organize, update and retain supplier and product information files and purchase order records to ensure compliance. Develop and maintain inventory databases for supplies and materials used in production. Interpret and evaluate MRO contract provisions with approval from Purchasing Manager. Communicate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, price or other issues. Investigate questionable invoices and packing slips in coordination with accounting. Ensure timely and accurate processing of production data to reconcile and close work orders. Set up and maintain raw‑materials, quantities, points of use and warehouse locations for backflush inventory completions. Identify and resolve problems before production or shipping schedules are affected. Reconcile production in WebEFF daily and coordinate inventory levels with managers. Perform manual adjustments, transfers and re‑classes to maintain inventory accuracy. Execute inventory analysis and resolve discrepancies through negative‑balance reports and dcLink transaction error reports. Maintain accuracy of capital‑project materials and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact at all levels of the organization. Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment. Comfortable with frequent exposure to warehouse and production floor; hearing protection may be required. Benefits Medical, dental and vision plans.
