Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab/EP Tech is responsible for assisting with complex cardiovascular procedures in the electrophysiology and catheterization labs, ensuring patient safety and procedural accuracy. This role requires technical proficiency and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate specialized equipment including Philips Xray, Impella, Balloon pump, and Acist injector.
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, PPM implants, and peripheral angiographies.
• Document procedures accurately using EPIC and Merge charting systems.
• Support the medical team during interventions, maintaining sterile conditions and patient safety.
• Ensure readiness of supplies and equipment for scheduled cases.
• Comply with all safety and procedural standards set by regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a state license and ARRT (R) certification or CCI RCIS credential.
• Possess at least 1 year of clinical experience in cath lab or EP procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency with cardiac equipment and procedural tasks.
• Be certified in BLS and willing to obtain de-escalation training if applicable.
• Capable of float within skillset and working in a fast-paced environment.
