Cardiac Catheterization TechnicianThe CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION TECHNICIAN performs a variety of technical and supportive care tasks to assist physicians in performing complex and invasive cardiac catheterization procedures. Works under the direct supervision of the physician.JOB DESCRIPTION13 weeks…Shift time: 7a-7:30p…3x12s or 4x10sDaily Caseload: 3-6, rotating between about 8 techs…1+ Years of experience required…First time travelers are not accepted…On-Call every 2-3 weekends. On-call schedule is Fri: 7p-7a, Sat: 24 hours, 7a-7a; and Sun: 24 hours, 7a-7a…No block schedules…Locals accepted…JOB REQUIREMENTSAART and NJ license must be in-hand…BLS, ACLS required…Skill Requirements: Scrub, diagnostic right and left heart cath, interventional cath, CTO, structural heart, ablations, devices (include ICD, Pacemakers, loop recorders etc.), interpretation/management of dysrhythmias; Will accept proficiency in either cath or EP lab procedures, both skillsets highly desired…Equipment experience required: Sterile procedure and equipment set up, rotablator, IABP, closure devices, balloon inflator, and stents…Charting System: EPIC, Cupid and Merge…ABOUT USFor more than 40 years, ATC Healthcare has provided leading nurses and healthcare professionals to hospitals and facilities nationwide.
