Subcontracts AdministratorSummary: HII – Mission Technologies is excited to welcome an experienced Subcontracts Administrator to our growing team in Syracuse, NY! This is a dynamic, onsite role where you'll play a key part in supporting critical missions and high-impact programs.What You Will Do:Manage complex agreements with subcontractors within the context of government prime contracts and commercial contracts.Prepare solicitation documents for complex acquisitions.Serve as the focal point when bids are received, review proposals, and resolve disagreements.Ensure the receipt, accuracy, and timeliness of subcontractor submitted documents.Maintain CPSR compliant subcontract files.Prepare and present briefings to staff and management on subcontracting matters.Coordinate subcontracting activities with various internal and external sources.Provide guidance to less experienced Buyers and Subcontract Administrators.What We're Looking For:6 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 4 years relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; or 10 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of the CPSR compliance process, commercial law, commercial contract management principles, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations System (DFARS), and supplemental acquisition regulations of government agencies.Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical abilities; detail oriented.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Prior procurement background (buyer, analyst, procurement manager).Why HII:We build the world's most powerful, survivable naval ships and defense technology solutions that safeguard our seas, sky, land, space, and cyber.
