Augie's, a new neighborhood restaurant and bar in Lincoln Park, is looking for a reliable, experienced Line Cook to join our team!
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and enjoys working with a great team. Pizza experience is a big plus , but not required.
What You'll Do- Prepare and execute menu items consistently and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow recipes and plating standards
- Work multiple stations as needed (grill, sauté, fry, pantry, etc.)
- Assist with prep work and daily kitchen organization
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has 2+ years of line cook experience (preferred)
- Can work in a fast-paced environment
- Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team
- Is available nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Cares about consistency, cleanliness, and quality
