Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota teaching license required
• Experience teaching in special education settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, therapists, and families
• Flexibility and problem-solving abilities in dynamic classroom environments
• Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive teaching practices

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction based on student needs
• Develop, monitor, and maintain compliant IEPs
• Track and report student progress
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and counselors
• Provide behavioral and emotional support tailored to each student
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and parent communications
