Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and rehabilitative procedures
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
• Maintain a safe and professional environment in accordance with facility policies
• Wear a photo identification badge at all times while on site

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or eligibility to practice in New Mexico
• Valid state or federally issued photo identification required
• Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment
• Minimum guaranteed hours of 35 hours per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
• Familiarity with registry and compliance documentation requirements
