Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based position in Galt, CA for the 2026–2027 school year.
Assignment Details:
- Full-time position
- School Year: August 13, 2026 – June 9, 2027
- Kindergarten classroom
- Structured Autism Program
- Mild to Moderate support needs caseload
- Collaborative and supportive educational environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Active California Special Education Teaching Credential
- Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
