Cove Forge is seeking an experienced individual responsible for monitoring all persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving our facility property. Salary: Starting at $15.00 Benefits: Comprehensive benefit package 401K + matching Paid holidays Paid time off Shift differential for 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts This position requires: HS diploma or GED required Professional and courteous demeanor Basic computer knowledge for emails/charting Acceptable driver's license preferred, but not required Purpose Statement Responsible for monitoring all persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving facility property. Essential Functions Assist, direct and monitor all persons entering and leaving the facility property. Keep accurate log books, as required. Direct emergency personnel arriving on facility property and maintain flow of traffic during emergencies, such as fire drills. Communicate incoming admissions, visits and deliveries to appropriate staff. Monitor parking area to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place, monitor lobby area and do frequent sweeps of the entire facility. Interact with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times. Report any suspicious behavior to the CEO, supervisor or a member of leadership. Other Functions Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. Education/Experience/Skill Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Two or more years' experience in security, corrections or military. Licenses/Designations/Certifications Valid state driver's license. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility.
