Now hiring experienced Box Truck / Straight Truck Drivers in Minneapolis, MN to support airport catering and logistics operations. This is a high-impact driving role on the airport tarmac, offering consistent hours, strong benefits, and long-term stability.

Pay & Schedule

• $26.00 per hour (paid weekly)

• Full-time (40 hours per week)

• Must be available for all shifts (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)

• 8–10 hour shifts

What You’ll Do

• Operate a high-lift box truck (16’–26’) on airport grounds

• Deliver and retrieve airline catering carts and equipment to/from aircraft

• Raise/lower truck to aircraft doors for accurate loading and unloading

• Load, secure, push, pull, and transport food, beverage, and equipment carts based on flight schedules

• Frequently get in and out of trucks throughout the shift

• Handle heavy equipment and materials in a physically demanding airport environment

• Coordinate with airline crews, ramp agents, and internal teams

• Ensure on-time, accurate deliveries to support flight departures

• Perform routine safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness

• Follow all airport safety, TSA, and security procedures

• Remain on your feet for the majority of the shift while working in a fast-paced operational setting

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Minimum 1 year of box truck or straight truck experience (16’–26’ required)

• Ability to pass:

• TSA background check

• Airport security clearance

• Pre-employment drug screening

• Ability to frequently push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs

• Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout an entire shift

• Ability to frequently get in and out of trucks and work on your feet for extended periods

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Open availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays)

Important

This is not an entry-level driving role. Candidates must have prior experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Experience limited to personal vehicles, rideshare, or delivery apps does not qualify.

Please note: this position is not strictly a driving-only role. The job consists of approximately 20% driving and 80% equipment handling and physical labor. Candidates must be comfortable getting in and out of trucks frequently throughout the shift and regularly pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Most of the shift is spent on your feet, and the position is considered very labor-intensive.
