Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Neuro Telemetry)

Location

Lubbock, TX | Short Term Acute Care – Level II Trauma Center

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro Telemetry IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:4
• Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
• Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule as part of the standard rotation
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Must adhere to facility dress code: solid navy blue scrub attire for licensed nursing personnel
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission — post-submission RTO requests may not be considered
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (charge RNs/leads accepted)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuro Telemetry, IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
• Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center environments
• Experience working in short-term acute care facilities
