Regional HR Business Partner

Collaborate with corporate, area, and division leadership to design and execute HR initiatives aligned with local business goals and company growth Advise, mediate, and mentor managers and employees on performance management, career development, conflict resolution, and leadership skills Drive employee engagement initiatives and champion the Safe For Life culture Lead localized community efforts through GFL's Full Circle Project Travel to branch locations across the assigned region to check in with teams, understand frontline challenges, and resolve workplace matters Manage end-to-end employee relations investigations Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws Advise leadership on fair employment practices, retention strategies, and performance management Deliver interactive training programs and onboarding experiences Requirements 7+ years of progressive HR Generalist/Business Partner experience Experience ideally supporting field operations, logistics, industrial, or multi-site environments Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field Outstanding interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of employment laws, OSHA/safety standards, compensation basics, and employee relations best practices Experience with modern HRIS platforms Microsoft Office Suite experience Workday experience is a bonus Willingness to travel routinely between local branch locations in coastal North Carolina and South Carolina Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located No visa sponsorship provided Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive experience in HR Generalist and Business Partner roles, with a strong focus on employee relations, compliance with employment laws, and performance management.
