As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking a wide variety of foods for our residents, employees, and visitors. If you have experience in commercial/volume food preparation and are passionate about providing exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this ON-CALL opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a wide variety of foods according to menus and recipes
• Plan cooking schedules to meet mealtime schedules
• Perform related duties and cleaning duties as assigned
• Direct other Food and Nutrition Services employees in the absence of the Food Service Director and Assistant Food Service Director/Chef Manager
• Maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment
Requirements:
• HIGH SCHOOL education or equivalent preferred
• Experience in commercial/volume food preparation required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language
• Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policy
• Ability to positively interact with residents/patients
Work Schedule:
• ON-CALL schedule, specifics TBA
