Registered Nurse / Scrub Tech - Interventional Cardiology

Location: Sierra Vista, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 07:00 - 15:30

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse / Scrub Tech specializing in Interventional Cardiology. The successful candidate will work in the Cath Lab and will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will join a team committed to providing high-quality care to adult patients, collaborating effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in various interventional cardiology procedures, including vascular embolization, ports, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tube placement.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients within the Cath Lab.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Manage patient monitoring and prepare necessary equipment for procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN licensure or certification as a Scrub Tech (RRT or RCIS).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional cardiology or related fields.
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures, particularly in a Cath Lab setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are preferred.
