What You'll Do

• Provide specialist cardiology care to adult patients in clinic and hospital settings
• Perform nuclear reads, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, and echo monitoring
• Support laboratory operations, including echocardiography and nuclear scans
• Manage a patient daily volume of approximately 17-18 patients
• Cover call shifts, including nights and 24-hour calls as scheduled
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC EMR system

What You Need

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Cardiology
• PA license and DEA registration
• Minimum of 1+ year cardiology experience
• Ability to support diverse adult patient population
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Nuclear board certification
• Echo Board Certification
• CT reading skills

About the Assignment This ongoing contract position involves serving as a key member of the cardiology department at a reputable facility in Lewisburg, PA. The role encompasses outpatient clinic duties, diagnostic procedures, and on-call responsibilities, supporting adult cardiac patients with comprehensive care. The facility features a 150-bed hospital and uses EPIC EMR for documentation. You will work alongside a full-time physician and participate in crucial procedures like stress tests, cardioversions, and echocardiography. The clinic operates Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with scheduled call rotations to support 24/7 cardiac care.
