Custodial, Grounds & Logistics Manager

Overview Wilkes University invites applicants for a Custodial, Grounds, & Logistics Manager in Custodial & Grounds. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing custodial, grounds, and logistics operations across the University while supporting efficient campus operations, service quality, and resource management. Responsibilities Direct custodial and grounds operations for university-owned and leased facilities. Oversee event support and moving services; serve as the primary liaison for major event setups and physical relocations. Manage space requests and maintain space management records and systems. Lead staff recruitment, training, development, and supervision. Oversee budgets, purchasing, and expense management. Track sustainability initiatives and recycling efforts. Support capital project tracking and small project management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Prior supervisory experience in a maintenance or customer service-related operation. Strong skills in planning, budgeting, staff leadership, communication, and records management. Knowledge of facilities operations, Microsoft Office, and CMMS programs.
