Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake & dbt Developer to design, develop, and optimize modern cloud data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and data transformation frameworks, with the ability to build scalable, high performance data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake .
• Build, maintain, and optimize data transformation models using dbt (Data Build Tool) .
• Develop ELT/ETL pipelines for ingesting and transforming structured and semi structured data.
• Create reusable dbt models, tests, macros, and documentation.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Manage CI/CD deployments and support data platform automation.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Snowflake Data Cloud .
• Hands on expertise in dbt Core/dbt Cloud .
• Advanced SQL programming and query optimization.
• Experience with data modeling techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault).
• Knowledge of ELT/ETL concepts and data integration.
• Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Airflow, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Cloud Composer.
• Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Snowflake and dbt certifications are a plus.
