CLINICAL EDUCATOR

Clinical EducatorElevate Healthcare is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and skilled Clinical Educator with a strong background in clinical education and simulation and holds active clinical licensure. This role will support both internal education for interdisciplinary departments and external customer and stakeholder education, helping to elevate healthcare learning and performance outcomes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in content delivery, skilled in content development, and comfortable producing and editing high-quality education content. This position is based in Austin, Texas and requires on-site presence. This position reports to the Group Leader, Clinical & Outcome Solutions.Position ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver simulation-based education and training programs for internal teams and customersSupport interdisciplinary clinical education across departments at Elevate HealthcareCollaborate cross-functionally to create instructional content, eLearning modules, and guidesParticipates in product design, research and development requirements for new and emerging educational productsParticipates in establishing and maintaining the educational requirements for products in ecosystemResponsible for project management of major initiatives as assignedCoordinates product education initiatives, including educational design, with others to ensure a sound pedagogical basisParticipation as required in major educational initiativesConducts product education activities at Elevate Healthcare sites or customer sites as requiredLead live and virtual educational sessions for company stakeholders and customersDevelop, produce, and edit educational content with strong attention to accuracy and qualityApply adult learning principles and instructional design methodology to all contentEnsure alignment with best practices in simulation education and current clinical standardsGather and apply feedback to continuously improve training and education offeringsMaintain a learner-focused, outcomes-driven approach across all training and education experiencesAttends major education conferences to support Elevate Healthcare and customers, attend workshops, and react to any significant emerging trendsExperience RequirementsActive clinical licensure (RN, RT, Paramedic, or similar)Bachelor's degree in Nursing, RT, Paramedic or similar, Healthcare Education, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in clinical education and simulationPrevious work in a simulation center or healthcare training environmentStrong communication and facilitation skillsCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailsAbility to perform under pressure to meet deadlinesExcellent public speaking skills; organizational skills, communication skills – both written and verbalMust be based in Austin, Texas or willing to relocateTravel required for training and educationPreferred ExperienceMaster's degree in Nursing, RT, Paramedic or similar, Healthcare Education, Instructional Design, or a related fieldCertified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE)Demonstrated expertise in creating and editing educational video contentProficiency with education editing toolsBackground in instructional design, adult learning, or eLearning developmentExperience using LMS platforms and virtual learning toolsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, pull and transport simulators and associated equipmentProlonged periods of sitting or standing; computer use; video production and presentationAble to facilitate education in both live and virtual environmentsElevate Healthcare was recently added to the Madison Medical portfolio of companies in February of 2024.
