Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Winston SalemPay: $35.33/hr. starting base pay$1.50 shift differential for 3rd shiftPotential to earn a 4% bonus based on the overall performance of the plant!Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00pm - 6:30am)Benefits Start 1st Day of EmploymentCompetitive hourly pay with wage progression where applicablePaid vacation, paid holidays, and sick time per local/state policyHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company match and/or retirement contributionsAnnual or quarterly bonus opportunity (plant performance-based)Shift differentials and overtime opportunitiesPPE, uniforms, and required safety gear providedEmployee battery programTuition reimbursement (eligibility varies by site)Opportunities for growth and development within ClariosJob ResponsibilitiesEmphasis on safe work practices, adherence to LOTO procedures and use of PPE.Troubleshooting and repairing of machinery, conveyors, and robotics.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Must have knowledge of 120, 208, and 480 VAC circuits.Experience with conveyors, electronics, PLC hardware and ladder logic required.Understanding of motor control circuitry (VFDs, soft starts etc.) required.May be required to set up and operate one or all of the following machines: lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, power saws, etc.Must be able to read schematics and blueprints.Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Perform preventive maintenance to assure maximum equipment functionality.Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience required.High school diploma or equivalent required.Mechanical skills and electrical repair knowledge.Working experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical (480v), and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.About the PlantOur mission is to create the world's best batteries, essential for the evolving future of transportation.
