Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by providing crucial mental health support and guidance throughout the school year. As a School Psychologist in the Baltimore area, you’ll collaborate on-site with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive, supportive learning environment. This is a contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year, allowing you to influence students’ well-being across Baltimore-area schools.
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current, valid certification or state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting evaluations, developing interventions, and supporting diverse learners (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to fulfill time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review under House Bill 486
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations in the region as assigned
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention for students (age group to be assigned)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement individualized learning or behavioral plans
- Consult on positive behavioral supports and effective classroom strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and regulatory standards
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings to support student progress and advocate for their needs
