Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP unit for day shifts. The role involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced cardiac environment, with opportunities for travel nursing.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP unit, following physician orders and protocols.
• Collaborate with cardiology teams to prepare patients for procedures such as cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology studies.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses during and after procedures to ensure safety and stability.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, postoperative care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, procedures, and outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice (OK or Compact license preferred).
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification required.
• Ability to work 4-10 hour shifts, including overnight, weekend, and holiday call.
• EP experience and familiarity with electrophysiology procedures are a plus.
• Willingness to travel and float as needed within scope of practice.
